World number six bodyboarder Ayaka Susuki (Japan)only needing a five-point ride to eliminate five times world champion, took off on one of the waves of the hate with only 10 seconds remaining, performing a barrel roll and a series of spins in the pocket to score 6.7 and send the former world champion taking on her comeback here.
Nao Ngai (Japan) took out the heat with a powerful double roll combo in the 1.5 m conditions. Nao is on the right side of the draw and will only come up against Sari Oharra (Japan) if she makes it through to the final. Sari has been absolute outstanding performer throughout the event. The 2014 number four) will tour has taken all before in this event in a major power body boarding performance. That is lifting Japan to the top of world Bodyboard.
It has been 13 years since the APB was last in Japan, and this is obviously not going to be the last time they are here said contest, said Mic Katto.
