APB secures 2017 global TV deal
EPICENTRE.TV SECURES MAJOR BROADCAST DISTRIBUTION FOR APB WORLD TOUR
In a coup for bodyboarding fans around the globe, Epicentre.tv has secured
distribution into 22 countries worldwide for the 2017 APB World Tour.
As well as delivering a worldwide, live stream of each contest, the deal will see
Epicentre.tv produce eight 30-minute highlights shows featuring the world’s
best bodyboarders taking on some of the most dangerous waves across the
globe in what is regarded as the ‘Dream Tour’.
APB Chief Executive, Alex Leon, believes the agreements will provide viewers
around the world with an insight into one of the most spectacular sports in the

viewers around the world will see just how amazing our athletes are as they
tackle the best waves in the world.”

The 2017 tour kicked off at the Mecca of bodyboarding, the infamous Pipeline,
Hawaii, and now heads to the most feared wave in the world, Teahupoo, Tahiti,
on April 23. Other locations include Australia, Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Spain and
the Canary Islands.
Epicentre.tv Chief Operating Officer, Luke Campbell, said he’s excited about the
opportunities ahead for the APB.

The deals will see distribution into countries including as Australia, Brazil,
Cambodia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia,
Myanmar, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan,
Thailand and Vietnam.
