With the completion of the trials the stage is now set for the first APB event of 2019 in Hawaii.
At this point in time the first two days of the waiting period look unlikely, however February 26 at this point is looking like a potential start date.
The call will be made via the APB social media along with Mike Stewart’s profile pages on Instagram & Facebook.
The one-day competition at pipe will consist of a 40 person draw that includes the top 4 women taking on the guys in a “battle of the sexes” type showdown.
Joining them will be the top 4 DK riders from the trials contesting their own divisional final.
Mike Stewart is excited about the talent in this year‘s competition.
“ It’s going to be a spectacular day“, said Mike.
“It’s been a tricky few weeks on the North shore with funky winds and a lot of sand over the reef but we are confident that we will get at least one good day out of the waiting period “, he added.
The one-day event will be webcast at www.apbtour.com/live along with several other social media platforms.
Stay tuned for more information as it comes to hand, meantime have a look through the draw for this year’s main event.
